Read the article and/or watch the video below:As you know, a devastating earthquake hit Haiti. Thousands of people have been hurt and killed.
Do you think that we as Americans/Spaniards should do something to help the people in Haiti? Why or why not?
If you think we should help, how could our schools raise money to send to Haiti?
As a Spaniard I think high school students help because the people of Haiti have lost everything and we have to help them. We can pay 1 Euro if we are late to school, or if we need to go to the bathroom for example. Also the students can pay to help them and give a better life for everyone in the country.
ReplyDeletewith this money, the people of Haiti can built the new infrastuctures like hospital, roads, hotels, apartment buildings... Which are the basic things to have a better country without poverty.
As a Spaniard, I think I can raise money for Haiti doing stuff, like selling food during the breaks, doing competitions. For example, if you want to participate in a basketball match you pay 1 Euro. Also let the students bring something they want and pay some money.
ReplyDeleteI think that the money we can give to Haiti is necesary for them, and we don`t need so money. With this money, the people of Haiti can buy something to eat, bury their relatives and build houses to live.
As a Spaniard, I think is a good idea help te persons for Haiti raising money,sending food, and making sure that it arrive. We can get some money to raise doing competitons, or activities, or other things.

I think we should help by doing things like making food and sending it or selling all our old toys or all the things we don't use and send them the money that we make.

To send money to Haiti, I can make food and sell it, or sell old things that we have in our home and we don´t use.
If I can, I would go to Haiti to help the people...but I can´t!

To help them, I think that the people can't be selfish.
If we find ourselves in this situation, we need the other people to help.
In my high school I think that all people should contribute in a benefic market, where the money arrives to everybody of Haiti.
as a amercian i think we should help haiti throught there problems alot of children were left with out parents and alot of parents were left with out there kids.i think the school should do like a food drive to send food to haiti. also we could collect money to send to haiti for shelters could be built.
ReplyDeletewell i think that we can help Haiti by diong a bake sale. And the money that we make we can sent it to the Red Cross. We can also donate cloth. when i heard that disater of Haiti i felt reall shocked and sad and was about to cry. i thought to my self so many kids left out with out there parents. it really broke my heart. what i did was i went to church and donated cloth and food and also money. that i helped and i felt good about it. all i hope is that GOD will fill them with heath and and more to leave for. and that GOD will hepl them.

I think as american's we SHOULD help people in haiti because we are all humans & we are all suppose to hlep eachother out. When i heard about what had happen in haiti I WAS SHOCKED because alot of people lost their relatives & homes & had no where to go, some past away. As a student of I.S 218 i think me & my school should help by doing a bake sale because we can raise ALOT OF MONEY & give it away to those in need in haiti.
